Feeling great! I can't believe my life has changed so drastically in 6 short months. So far I've lost 75 pounds. Things are getting a bit more difficult for me though. I am beginning to crave sugary things. Fruit is sufficing at the moment, but man oh man - the struggle is real! Thank you to all who have been posting lately about staying on track and not letting our minds get the better of us. It's really helped me.

Congrats! You're dong so we'll! You might find that adding savoury flavours to your protein satisfies the sugar craving . Gve spices a try.

That's really interesting. I will try that. Although, I already use a lot of spices when cooking.

Thanks,

Congrats on your six months Barb and down 75 is amazing! Its quite the wild ride right!

I hear you on the crave sugar, I am a sugar addict. And I have to fight every minute of every day not to give into it. What I have been doing lately is working into my daily calories a chocolate or vanilla "Snack Pack" pudding and its helping me with my sugar cravings. They are 3.5 oz, 60 calories, 1 protein and 8 carbs. You could always put a bit of unflavored protein powder in there if you wanted to but I eat as is.

Its Easter in two weeks, I EFFING LOVE the Cabury Easter Creme Eggs, and I mean LOVE. I see them in the stores and I swear I start to salivate and get all twitchy from craving them so bad. But I can't go there, if I eat one it will lead to 100.

A see a lot of people eat fruit with Sugar Free whipped topping on it and it feels very much like a "dessert." You could try that.

You are right on track for the head hunger, cravings and stalls to happen. Its hard yes but you can do it. You have done a great job so far, keep at it!

I never had a craving for sugar until about 2 weeks ago. When I feel I need something sweet I usually have a few dates or a fig. That seems to help.

Thanks for all of your encouragement!

When I want something sweet I eat something pickled. Beets are my usual go too and they help take the sweet need away.
