Had To Share - 100 lbs lost!
Hi All,
Although my ticker says that I have lost 89 lbs, I actually hit the 100 lbs lost milestone on Monday of this past week! As of today, I am down 103 lbs.
I am so grateful that I have been given this tool.
I had to go to a funeral yesterday and it was more like a High School Reunion. All the "old neighbourhood peeps" were there. People did not recognize me. My best friend from high school walked right past me, nodded hello and carried on. I followed her and tapped her on the shoulder and said, "Hey Joanne, it's me Jill". She turned and couldn't believe it.
Once people realized it was me it was incredible. Unfortunately, it was not a high school reunion, so my elation had to be contained but it was an uplifting day for me in spite our my sadness at the loss of a friend's mother.
I hope everyone gets the opportunity to experience and feel what I did yesterday. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.
