Orientation Humber River HRRH

Hi All,

It's been 8 weeks not and I have not heard from Humber about Orientation. I tried giving them a call and they said it can take up to 4 months. I have seen folk get their package in a few weeks to six weeks. Is 4 months the new norm?

I cant speak for Humber, but at TWH I was told that it would take 2 months at least to get an orientation and should expect a wait longer than that so what I did was call every week and ask if they have any openings and now my orientation is next week (about a month after my referral). Maybe you can try doing the same thing, just be very nice when you call and I am sure theyll try to help.

Hi JayJen, I went through Humber and it took about 9 to 10 weeks to get the orientation package. When I called to confirm I asked if they had any cancellations and I was able to attend the very next week, I didn't need to mail anything back I just took it with me. I found the process was quite fast from orientation to surgery (which I had to put off for 2 months due to work). See my timeline below. Good Luck!

Hey everyone... I called OBN beginning of June and they said my referral was submitted April 2018, then last week I called Humber's clinic to see if there were cancellations and was told my referral was sent in June and I will have to wait until I receive a letter in the mail with the orientation details.... Just from reading posts on here EVERYONES situation is so different.
