Have not been reading as much on this list lately.  busy with other things but glad I read it today.

Nicole:  Sometimes the hardest thing is knowing how much strength you REALLY have.  You have it in you.  Keep looking and you will find it.  And even if there are days it eludes you.. just remind yourself its still there.

Topic: RE: DR BRADER
Liz:  I'm with you.  The main reason I went that far out was for Dr. Brader.  His reputation,  my comfort level with him as a surgeon and his wonderfulness.  (not to say anything is wrong with his staff cause I believe they are awesome)  but Dr. Brader was the REASON.

I hope that his decision will only bring him happiness in his life. he is such an amazing person.

Topic: RE: A Post about me.
Ok had my 18 month check up today.  I'm down another 5 lbs.  Not where I want to be but very happy still.  Dr. B. gave me kudos all over the place which I drank up like a sponge and had a smile ear to ear.  (we are always so much harder on ourselves so its nice when your doctor tells you how good you are doing).

I started a 'team' on sparks people with a few friends.  We keep each other motivated and accountable for logging our food and exercise.  I like the friendly competition and I think this will help me in the next six months to get down another 5 or 10 lbs.

I celebrated by getting my hair cut (nothing drastic just a trim) and buying skirts for the summer.  I actually bought skirts that FIT my body and not just hang.  The size ranged from an 8 to a 12 but it was more that I felt pretty in them and can't wait to wear them

THIS WHOLE POST LEADS TO THIS.  THANK YOU.  To all my support on this board, to Dr. B for his miracle working hands and to family.  I would not have changed a darn thing and am blessed to know you all.

Topic: RE: OT - More on parenting a bi-polar child
First and foremost,  I think you are one of the best moms out there.  I also think an interim might be a good idea.  But I also like the comment you made about Molly starting to make some decisions on her own.  when you talk to her see what choices she would make.  (doesn't mean you have to do them but it might be a good guage on where she is at in managing herself)

Good Luck!!

Topic: RE: Back to Basics Tuesday
GL and I too wanna hear about it.  Last week was a downer for me.
Bad food not enough exercise = weight gain!!  No really it does... who knew.

Soooo since Inertia is a PITA.. I need to make my rolly polly butt move.  So decarbing for the next couple of days and MORE exercise.

I agree with you.. I need that accountability also  (thus why I torture myself by signing up for runs)

You can do this Lisa.. We can do this togehter.  Details on the class later for us please.
