 Lachute, Quebec, Canada Member Since: 01/07/09 [Latest Posts] | Post Date: 11/2/11 10:26 pm Hi you guys.... Sorry for not giving any news since my surgery but I was busy... Had my vsg on october 13 by dr.Atlas at Sacre Coeur and everything went well except that I was stuck with a drain for a week. I'm slowly starting to eat soft foods but I still can't drink plain water either cold or room temp cause it hurts so much. So my liquid intake is kinda low. I'm loosing slowly but I think it's because I don't eat enough in a day and I don't take enough proteins. But I started eating chicken and cheese so that should help..... I hope.... I have lost 15 lbs before Optifast, 17 lbs with Optifast and since surgery, only 13 lbs!!! I was hoping to loose more quickly but i'm kinda stuck. Any suggestions to up it a little? I'm so afraid, all this was for nothing and that it won' t work for me. I'll keep you posted Anne I'm 5'6" VSG October 13th, 2011 with Dr.Atlas at Sacre Coeur.  |
