I can honestly say at this point....

I Hate food!  I am 9 1/2 weeks out and miserable.  I have had issues from the day 1.  I was feeling pretty good till last thursday when I woke up with a pinched nerve in my neck.  By the way apparently there is nothing a doc can do for a pinched nerve.  I got extra strentgh tylenol and ice and lots of rest. I am still really sore but the spasms are gone.  I guess the tylenol is causing me to be nauseses. and for the last 2 days it has messed with my taste buds and has caused diarehha.  I have a doctor appointment on thursday but i was wondering does anyone else have food issues(like hating everything).  I practicely gag down my protein drink, where as a couple of days ago I could handle them fine.  Also, does anyone have trouble taking tylenol?

Thanks Teresa

My friend HATES her protien drinks.  She tried lots of them and there are only two that she can stand.  And she has issues with food as well.  I am not on the other side but when I had my band I had no issues with either.  Good Luck and feel better soon
Have you tried chiropractic or acupuncture for your neck?  Both helped mine and acupuncture could help with gastrointestinal distress as well.

Good luck.  I feel your pain as I am at 9 weeks and just found I have an ulcer.  Now I am having problems keeping anything down.  Just keep your eyes on the prize.  I hear that things start to get better soon

Your doc should be able to give you something stronger than Tylenol - maybe call and tell him it is causing diarreha.  He could give you something for nausea too.
I have back issues so I know where you're coming from.  I hate most of the protein drinks too.  Maybe try a different type of drink - if you're going with the vanilla choc ones try a fruit one.
Hope you feel better soon.

Yes, I have hated food for a couple of days. For a brief moment today I thought that I just wouldn't bother. Anyway, it is tuna (with lite miracle whip and vlasic chopped pickles) and cottage cheese (with sf apricot preserves) that are keeping me going.
Good luck to you.

Right about the two month mark I hated everything!  I was still limited on what I could tolerate ... things weren't sitting well when I would try a little bit of anything.  It just seemed like it wasn't worth it and waaaaaay too much effort!  I did get depressed and cranky.  This was also around the time that I accepted the fact that I was heavy because of a food addiction.  I have great genetics ... a good metabolism ... I was just addicted.  Aaaaanyways ... point being ... it gets better!  I don't have cravings as much as I used to now which is good!  But overall, it really does get better!  Stick with it!

I am 8 weeks out, and posted on exactly this (hating food, not the tylenol) just yesterday!
