Curious question about percent lost

I was wondering how much of your  extra weight did you lose-percentage or actual number- I know I have approx 200 extra lbs to be within my bmi but not certain where I should set my goal_ Surgeon is thinking Ill lose about 160 of it...Anyone lose 100% of your excess weight?? Tips for success?

I set my goal to 150 as that is close to top end of normal range for my bmi, but when I reach it I would be fine to lose more if possible but if I don't I will be thrilled to stay in normal range!

My dr said, of the 105 lbs I want to lose, I'll lose 70% of it in first year. I am 5 and a half months out and have already lost 87% of goal so really I feel that I am a head of what dr told me... So glad he set my expectations lower so that I wouldn't feel disappointed or what have you.

According to my surgeon, I've lost 110% of my excess.  No real tips, just keep following your plan & get regular exercise.
