Stopped working this morning.....said LOW and that wasn't my weight, either.....wouldn't weigh me. Dang it and today is the final weigh in at the doc!

They cancel the surgery if you are above pre-surgery weight loss requirement; but it is all okay, I exceeded the weight loss requirement.

 Oh that sucks i had to buy a new scale last week mine broke, i also like too check my weight before appointments aswell so i dont get a shock when i get there or just to know where im at before hand

Ugh, how annoying. I totally get it. I hate having any surprises at my appts so always way at home. I know some people only way at the doc's and I'm impressed they can hold out - I haven't been able to at this point! Good luck today!

If it's an analog scale (no batteries needed), it's broke. Digital scale may need new batteries or may be broke too. If shopping for a new digital scale, check battery type needed.  Newer scales will work on AA or AAA batteries, much cheaper than those round nickel sized batteries, which is typically around $5 each, and some scales need two of these batteries.  DAVE

Does it need new batteries? If that is not the issue and you want a new one, I bought a nice one at Costco for 20.00.

It's not like you could change your weight today even if your scale was working... So even though you now have to wait to see what your weight is at the doctor's office, and have to buy new batteries (I assume), maybe it saved you from having to be stressed out all day because of what it said... (?)

Lora...You are right. I just have been weighing myself everyday, trying to see where I am....I think it did actually relieve my stress, so all was good, I think it's just the battery. These are nice Weigh****chers scales and are digital. I bought a battery a few months ago, but I think something got thrown on the scale and it kept it on!
