I have been going to Zumba twice a week ( I do the low impact routine because of my knees and ankles)... walk my two dogs everyday for at least 60 minutes ( that's about 2.5 miles). I know its exercise, but something was missing.
I started back at the gym today... did 60 minutes on the treadmill.... I sweated like a pig!!!!!!! IT FELT GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like sweating and obviously, the other exercises are not giving me that! So for the rest of this week it's treadmill and maybe next week, I will try the elliptical! Go ME!

It is really amazing - when seemingly out of the blue excercise becomes the friend instead of the enemy. It's the lifestyle changes that REALLY count.
I was complaining to my husband the other day becaue my gym bag is getting torn up. I said, "Jeez, this is my second bag in less than a year... my last bag lasted me like 5 years". At which point, he politely pointed out that my last bag lived on the top shelf of my closet for 4 1/2 of those 5 years. Oh, right... forgot about that tidbit.
