Should I see my surgeon?

I'm coming up on my second year anniversary on May 17th.  Should I schedule an appointment with my original surgeon or just my PCP for blood work?

I lost 165 lbs in the first 11 months.  I've gained back about 15 lbs in the last six months because I've failed to follow the program.  Still at 187 I feel pretty good.  The one problem I'm having is my appetite seems to have increased and I like my sugar again.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

I'd probably see your surgeon for a follow up unless there's some reason you really don't want to do that.  In which case you could see your PCP for labs.  You may need to take a list of labs to your PCP because he or she may not know which ones to order.

Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR.  If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor.  Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me.  If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her.    Check out my blog.

Thanks Kelly.  I'll call my surgeon tomorrow.  I trust your advise.
