I just wanted to let you all know that Bariatric Advantage now has a chewable multi vitamin that includes calcium.  Up until now I have had to do the multi and the Calcium separately. This simplifies things a lot!  Just putting that out there!

Interesting, I was sure my centre insists I take those two separately? Maybe things have changed recently, thanks for posting, I will check with my centre and dietician's.

You can't take iron and calcium at the same time.  Does it have both?

The only reason to take them separately is if the multi contains iron and you want to absorb it.

Yes, that's why for me I need to take them separately, I use a prenatal multi which has the iron 👍

I looked at the label on those, and they only have 100 mg of calcium citrate per chewable. We are supposed to have 1500 to 2000 mg per day, so you will still have to take a separate calcium citrate, in at least three separate 500 mg doses, anyway. An extra 100 mg in a multi really isn't going to make a difference.

You will need more calcium that the little bit that's in that multi.
