4 month Surgiversary

Today is my 4 month Surgiversary. I am down a total of 90 pounds pre and post-op. Went to Macy's to return something and grabbed a size 18 skirt off the clearance rack to wear for Thanksgiving. I wasn't sure, but figured I could always go back for a larger size if needed. Well if fit! I also bought a couple of XL tops this week in the 'regular' department and discovered my ring size went down one size. This was from a 26/28 size and I could have used a 30/32 sometimes but usually didn't buy it. I can't fit in all 18s and XLs but I am on my way.

I did post a new pic in my profile if you want to look. (under 'before' file)I tried to copy it here but it came out enormous. It was taken Friday night at a dinner dance sponsored by one of the support groups I go to. It was very nice.

Yay for you and what an awesome NSV!  I love shopping now, if only for the shock factor like grabbing something that you don't think will fit and it does.  LOL

Congratulations!!  I'm so excited for you.  I'm scheduled for surgery on 12/15 - nervous as hell - but posts like this are SO encouraging.  Keep on posting your progress :).  Did you have your surgery in NY?  (I am...).

I live on Long island.(Suffolk County)  Where are you at?

I grew up in Nassau :).  I'm living in NJ...having the surgery at NYU.
