How long is this supposed to last?
I think I'm in my 3 week stall... I can't seem to lose anything and in fact went up a pound at the doctor's office when I had to go in again after my 2 week appointment. I know that's not possible, I'm only eating between 500 and 700 calories a day. But nothing is happening! How long does the 3 week stall usually last? I could cry I'm so frustrated with it.
You are still losing fat, you just aren't losing weight. Stick to your plan, and you'll do fine. This is perfectly normal.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
A stall is completely normal. Stay off the scale for a couple of weeks. Instead of focusing on the scale, trust in the process of what you're doing. You're eating according to your surgeon's plan and the scale will reflect that. Are your clothes loose from the past three weeks? What happens during a stall is the scale stays the same but your body is smaller and your clothes will reflect that.
Stay on track with what you're doing.

It is very hard I know. I am 11 weeks and I was weighing myself everyday to keep a record and then I stopped. I might do it twice a week now. I put on a different pair of jeans on and I couldn't believe my eyes. They were so baggy I cried. Don't go by the scale.
Totally normal, but not sure why doc didn't say that right at the start. Nutritionist probably did, but all I heard was don't weigh everyday. .. after not losing for 2 weeks, then dropping 9 in three days, then another three weeks after that nothing then 6 pounds in a couple days. .. maddening!! So, the last visit my exercise guy said STOP USING THE SCALE AND MEASURE ONLY! ! LET US WORRY ABOUT WEIGHING YOU! Then I quit worrying. Lol. When I look at the starting weight at surgery and today, I am still down 30 in two months. The nonlinear loss still averages very well!
