Iron Supplements
For the first few years I bought iron supplements from Bariatric Advantage. Then I just bought it at Target or Walmart, but I don't think it was the right kind. Recently, I bought Celebrate but don't care for the chewables at all. I do see a difference in hair growth and in not being so cold since taking bariatric iron.
What do you take.....brand, mgs?

I use Vitalady Tender Iron, 60 mg carbonyl iron with 400 mg vitamin C. I take five a day.

I too dislike chewables. I can't stand the taste or texture of them. Especially when it comes to Iron, because it stains the teeth after a while and discolors them. I began a search for high potency bariatric supplements and came across Vita4Life, and the company changed my life. My labs improved and I didn't have to deal with chewables anymore. I had RNY back in 2009, and my labs have been excellent since switching. I take the Multi-Plus formula, and I supplement with the Sublingual B-12 and the ADEK. I take the recommended 4 multivitamins per day.
