I got approved today!!!!

after all the work, I DID IT!!!! Now I have to wait for my surgery date and get past the pre-surgery diet with my diabetes :/

Is the date from your surgeon, or the insurance company? The date the insurance company puts is just to fill the blank.

That's the date from the surgeon. It's so fast, after all the appointments and paperwork it's so surreal! 

I understand how you feel. I'm waiting on insurance approval Nd I keep waking through the night thinking, ok now what if I get approved ... My nerves start .... I wasn't afraid with the band because the rerouting of my intestines scares me ... And I was younger lol . 

I had the band in 2008, it didn't work out and had to have it removed. Since then, my health has gone downhill and I've come to accept that I need this in order to survive and see my grand babies grow up. I try not to think about what they are actually going to do, haha. I'm ready for the challenge and ready for my new healthy life.
