Halfway point of the week!  Woo!  I'm so looking forward to this long weekend.  I'm going to visit my friend from college who's (whose?) husband passed away recently.  Actually, it's going to be a little senior year house reunion as it'll be the "core 4" of us descending on Joanne and surrounding her with love.  And beer.  LOL

My husband drove me in again today.  Dammit.  And he spent the entire ride serenading me with the Beach Boys' Kokomo.  WTF, Matt?!  If it's stuck in your head today like it is mine, you're welcome.  LMAO

QOTD!  Piggybacking on Daisy's vacation time query from yesterday, what's your all time favorite vacation?  Mine is def. my honeymoon.  We spent 2 weeks at the Villa Del Palmar resort in Cabo San Lucas.  So much awesomeness.  You could see the effing arch from our room!

Time since surgery:  23+ months

B:  HB egg and a cheese stick

S:  2 slices light bologna and a hunk of sharp cheddar

L:  tuna salad on a piece of honey 7 grain toast and some pork rinds

D:  brinner!  turkey sausage and a cheese omelet

TOTALS:  Cals:  914  Protein:  73  Carbs:  22  Fat:  59

Thanks for the oatmeal recipe AV, I made it last night!!  My new therapist is totally ok with me having shakes if I want, because they are SAFE for me, but wants to me to try and branch out a bit.  So this came at a good time! 

Hannah has another softball game tonight, so no rest for the wicked I guess

QOTD: My honeymoon was amazing, I must say, we went to Quebec and stayed inside the wall in Old Quebec, and the weather was perfect and we pretty much walked everywhere we wanted to go, with the exception of white water rafting and we took a bus to a big mall one day that had a roller coaster in it!  It was just so nice to be just Hubby and I, since we already each had one daughter when we married.  I love my kiddos, but I really miss one on one time with my husband.

Yay for the baked oatmeal!  It's good, right?

Preach about alone time with the husband.  We just have the one kid, but we can never seem to get any time to ourselves.  Also?  Quebec sounds amazing.

It was really good, and I am pretty sure the peanut butter made it like a million times better! lol  mmmmm peanut butter

Dear Body, WTH? I'm three days essentially carb free and gained 3 pounds?! I'm guessing it has to do with high sodium intake and prolonged lack of sleep, but I'm thoroughly annoyed. Also, I woke up hungry (which almost never happens) so it's probably going to be a big pouch day. The good news is that I'm stuck in back-to-back meetings, so I'll be tethered to the office with no time to go out, and will have to stick with what I brought :)

Jealous of the SoCal meetup tonight. Please give Mr. Hag a GIANT hug from me...
