I have like 4 days until my surgery date.

And I'm freaking out?!

Save the freaking out for after- when you're standing in a dressing room fitting into that size you never thought possible.

Now-- stay focused, and listen to everything your body (not your head) is telling you.

Seems that's a pretty common thing!

Are you freaking out like "OMG, I can't do this!!"... or are you freaking out like "OMG, I'm so excited, let's do this!!!"

I was the latter... I was so excited it never dawned on me to be scared... but then I freaked out that I wasn't freaking out!!

And if you're freaking out like "OMG, I can't do this"... tell that ***** to go to bed

Honestly... it's OK, just don't talk yourself out of anything... then you'd have to do that liquid diet all over again next time

Hang in there!!

What makes it funny is I am only freaking out about the recovery. I know I will be fine with the surgery, and I definitely do NOT want to have to redo this liquid diet, so you definitely have a point.

Definitely normal.  I stayed as busy as possible the week before surgery, just to try and keep my mind off of it.

It'll be done before you know it!

I was excited-freaked-out until just a day or two before I think, and then Igot scared. Try to not worry. It's a very safe surgery, safer than staying obese. Excited for you!
