Good morning! I hope everyone had a nice weekend, and nice Easter, if you celebrated. It is Patriot's Day in Massachusetts, so no work today :) It is also Boston Marathon Monday, which has always been my favorite once a year sporting event. I watched it live a bunch of times when used to live 2 blocks from the finish line, and now I have a tradition of running on the treadmill while I watch it, to see how far I can go in the same of time as the elites take to cross the finish line. **Hint--not 26 miles. LOL.

QOTD: What do you do when you can't sleep? I used to like listening to very quiet podcasts, but now that my phone is also my alarm clock, I can't turn the volume that low. So I turn Netflix on my computer near my bed and put on a show on that will hopefully lull me back to sleep. Last night was a big fail, though, and I ended up watching tv all night. I have never taken pills or anything artificial unless I am very sick, but sometimes I think melatonin would be a good idea. Any other tips and tricks?

What recipe are you using for the cottage cheese pancakes? I haven't had any success with those, yet...

Good morning all. Posting before work today for a change. Hope e everyone had a great weekend. I just have to get through one more day and then I get one off.

QOTD: I'm lucky with the not being able to sleep issue, I don't seem to ever really have that issue. I do sleep with a fan near my bed year round and have the tv on low while I sleep. The tv is on both for noise for me, and for my fur babies. If they hear any noises they bark, so having the tv on keeps them from hearing stuff.

Morning!

Ok, so the scale gods are messing with me. I've been at my lowest weight since Friday am, and the scale hasn't budged since. Up or down. I'm usually pretty cool about weigh ins, but I am getting a little Happy Gilmore about it. "Go to your home" scale!

i have another new hire starting today, I'm excited and exhausted thinking about it already!

Qotd: I do a couple of things. I will pull up a really boring Wikipedia page and read it. It can't be anything slightly interesting. Also, I'm not religious, but I will recite prayers in my head repeatedly, like a meditation mantra. The repetitive nature of it makes me sleepy. I also do the podcast thing. If it's because I have something on my mind that's keeping me up, I might need the podcast plus reading to get myself out of my head long enough to fall asleep.

Menu:

B: protein shake

L: ill have to buy something today, we got a little too lazy yesterday after our visitors left...

D: I think I'll make taco meat, and lettuce cups.

S: skyr with bran buds

have a good one!

Good morning everyone!

Didn't give myself too much time this morning but I want to make this a pre work habit so quick is better than nothing.

QOTD I've had struggles with sleep at various times in my life and wish I had a solution for you. I've gone through phases where it seems like my body is attempting to become completely nocturnal and I haven't found anything that works too well for me. Not that I've tried much because I was hesitant of it becoming a need but disrupted sleep is tough to power through.

L- I've packed a bunch of stuff and I have no idea what to expect today
