Good morning menu folks! Here we are at Thursday and the weekend is just over the horizon. Do you have big plans for this weekend?
QOTD: What is your favorite ethnic food? I love Indian food alot, but I haven't had it since surgery. I was concerned about the spiciness for a good while, plus it can be carb heavy with the rice and naan bread. Some ethnic foods really lend themselves to a protein forward menu and some are very carb heavy.
Breakfast: hard boiled egg, turkey sausage patty
Snack: Cappuccino protein shake
Lunch: TJ's Herb Mustard Salmon, baby carrots
Snack: 2 oz turkey breast
Dinner: Pork loin, Hodge Podge veggies
Exercise: short walk, deep water aerobics

accountability: on point, but the jerk scale refuses to move hahha. Which normally doesn't bother me, but because my surgiversary is tomorrow, it's like I'm totally waiting for that pot to boil hahahah.
Qotd: I haven't met a cuisine I didn't like. And there are very few things I can't adapt to wls, either in the kitchen. Or at the restaurant. My go to is probably Indian and Greek and lebanese. Also Vietnamese, Japanese, Mexican, Eastern European. Ya. All that good stuff. Things I avoid: North American style Italian (although I have had some amazing meatballs) and North American style Chinese (most dishes are either too carby/sweet)

D: tbd, if I'm on my own, leftover chicken. If hubby is here, we'll grill some steak.

Last week we went to East Side Mario's with my bil and sil- I got the baked penne something- but I asked them to sub out my penne with mushrooms. It was very good - and I had enough for 2 meals!! :)

E: Back is still very painful so I don't think I will be able to take the dogs for a walk yet. Hoping it will get better soon.
