Good morning menu family!

Accountability: Last night's meal was changed by the host to a less protein dense option (mix of Chinese takeout) so I added a protein shake before bedtime and that still only brought me to 63g. Calorie wise I came out about the same as I'd budgeted.

[EDITED TO ADD QOTD]

QOTD: I love all ethnic foods! Indian is a top five for sure, Thai food is right up there too! I love all the Mediterranean foods! I like spice, but I can appreciate the more subtle flavors of European foods, especially French cuisine. African curries made with pumpkin, lamb and goat dishes from Persia... Any kind of flatbread LOL!!! I loved the foods I had in Egypt, they aren't spicy but they are chuck full of vine ripened fruits and veggies! Even English foods and German foods, somewhat bland and over-cooked are nice on occasion.

5 mo post RNY/155lbs/Weight-loss stage

B- Plain yogurt with protein powder

L- LF cottage cheese with protein powder

D- Chicken fingers and 6 oz carb heavy beverage

Yesterday I managed to get in 30 minutes of cardio, plus a decent amount of walking.

My under-desk elliptical is extra squeaky today so I'll probably not use it to the max. I'm not sure it does much anyway but I figure it's better than just sitting here!

I'm not familiar with much traditional American Indian dishes other than fry bread. I'd heard about it for so long that I was eager to try it, but didn't like it much at all. I've had buffalo and venison plus some wild berry compote, all of which were good. My mom (who was European, not Native American) always said that preparing venison requires beer, I think to help tenderize the fibers.

Hi Liz,

I'm not a happy camper right now! I've been a stall over a month now! I've been considering upping my protein to see if that helps. What's your thought?
