I'm with you on that one, totally weird. Sometimes I look in the mirror or at my clothes and don't see any weighloss or very little and an hour later I do... The mind plays trick on you!

I know! I'm currently 1.5 lbs above my comfort range and when I look at myself in the mirror I'm seeing myself at 200lbs. I have to literally remind myself that I'm wearing a size 2 pants and even though I really do need to focus to get back down where I belong, I'm not actually fat again (yet).

My mother was a little french woman(swear to god I was adopted) She was about 5 feet tall(swear to god I was adopted) She wore a size 2-4 (swear to god I was adopted) I don't even understand a size 2! I know what you are talking about - feeling comfortable and safe - What I'm trying to say is..I've seen the pictures...you look petite...and pretty soon you'll feel petite(normal)... There is no (yet) for you...you truly do sound focused. You have always been inspirational .

Good Morning! Love the jeans-you look great!! I need to make some egg salad! My three year follow up appt went pretty good. He is pleased with how everything is going aside from the low iron issue. He is having me get an infusion and that is happening Monday. The nurse scheduling the appt let me know the process will take 5-6 hours(yikes!) but to bring some foods I can eat easily, water and a good book.

QOTD: Yay for birthdays!! I usually like to take a day trip somewhere (last year was the beach and the year before was San Francisco) but this year is 4-0 so I don't know what I want to do....I have a few months to decide. Sounds like you have a great plan and new clothes and scale are awesome gifts.

Time since surgery: 3 years 1 month

B: SF latte (Starbucks today), eggbeaters with roasted red pepper, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Spaghetti squash casserole and baby carrots

S: Homemade Greek yogurt with blueberries and ¼ cup bran cereal, and Buddig beef, homemade low carb peanut butter thumbprint cookies and SF popsicle when I get home

D: Philly cheese chicken sausage, edamame and SF pudding made with Fairlife topped with cool-whip

E: 1 hour stair-climber this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1156 Protein:103 Carbs:95 Fat:44

Have a great one!

I'm super jealous of your iron infusion (and also happy for you!). I hope it's everything you need it to be!

Usually just the first infusion is like that. They want to make sure you have no reaction.

I love IV iron. Screw Oxycontin..give me some iron!

I am really happy you are getting infusions. About time. Hope they work well for you.

Good morning OH~ It's a really busy week for me - I had Monday off, but tons of meetings, appointments and work to get done because I will be at a conference all next week. As much as I look forward to this get away, it's stressing me out just as much.

QOTD - My birthday was Monday! Rob and I celebrated on Sunday because he was out of town. I pampered myself - took the day off, mani/pedi, shopping and dinner w/my son. I have lunches w/family and friends lined up and had a pot luck party at work yesterday.

About the pot luck food yesterday - It was weird - I'm not open about WLS and no one at work knows. It was the first time eating in front of everyone that I couldn't hide. I took way more food than I knew I could eat 'for show' and stupidly drank my beverage the whole way through my meal which I never do. I was able to eat all the food on my plate and did not get full, then right after, I had 2 big servings of SF jello and SF whipped cream - still no fullness. Usually I get incredibly full very easily. What an eye opener - Looking back on it, its pretty scary actually. Don't drink while you eat!!!!!

Accountability - Quite a few extra BLT's - all approved food, just more than usual and lots of jello w/whipped cream - it was soooo dang good!

9 mo post op - 177

B-coffee w/hh, spelnda, SB venti latte w/splenda, HB eggs

l-sushi roll made w/out rice

d-leftover chicken

v/l - on track

e -not happening lately and would love to not bother posting about it but I want to get back on track soon - I'm aiming for week of 9/25

Have a great day all!
