Home at last

Finally made it home, they took away some meds and started new ones. I was frustraited with the staff checking my blood sugars after I ate when its suppose to be sliding scale. They continuously told me I need to drink more but then turn around and say I can only have 2 oz during meals (where the orders say 2ozs every hour) they didnt let me rest. Was on oxygen with my cpap there but now that I'm home they didn't say anything. Also took an hour to get my meds filled. But I'm home! My pain is down considerably since yesterday, I can now rest in the comfort of my own home. Thank you all for thr kind words, the encouragement, and thoughts and prayers!

Glad you're home. Drink as much as you can, and walk. You'll feel like poo for a few days, but it gets better.

Glad to hear your home and all went well. I know the feeling of not getting sleep. I think its odd how different hospitals/surgeons have us consume different amounts of water. I was suppose to drink 6 medicine cups total of 6 ounces. Hope you have a well deserved sleep tonight.

Glad you are home.... Now you can really start to feel better! I found once I was home I started to feel 100% better I could not get any rest in the hospital.
