Meat Week is COMING!!

So I was thinking it would be fun to have another meat week-and reached out to Daisy about it. She is quite busy but was more than happy to let someone else take the reins! Having said that, it's a fair bit of work to run it the way that Daisy has always done! So we're sharing the fun. Insertfitness, Lizjustwantshelpforall, and I will run this one - yup - it takes 3 of us to do what Daisy did!

Here's the deal - this one will be a work week challenge so it will run from October 16th to October 20th. The invite will be posted the week of October 9th.

So mark your calendar, and fill your freezers!! Lets kick the carb monster to the curb. :)

As always- 2 options - AMAW and CAMAW - we will include the guidelines in the invite post. Each day, we will run a separate menu thread for the meat-eaters. And at the end of the 5 days, we will crown a meat king and queen.

Looking forward to lots of participation!

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

AMAW and CAMAW- what do these acryonyms stand for. I want to participate but need to pre-cook stuff. I kinda gotta know the rules (generically) so I can follow along. One week will NOT be enough to precook/prepare the freezer/etc.

Can you give me just a gleaning please?

AMAW is All Meat All Week. Nothing but meat.

CAMAW is Critter And Meat All Week. This includes anything that comes from an animal. Eggs, cheese and other dairy, even whey. Plus meat, of course.

Condiments such as mustard and ketchup are allowed, within reason. Coffee and tea, likewise.

It's a great way to detox from crappy carbs. Have nothing but dense protein for a week, and we all get in touch with just how much restriction we have.

What about near-zero calorie "food holders" like a leaf of lettuce for my tuna or shrimp? I can go without condiments easier than going without lettuce wraps...
