Good morning! Yesterday?s topic was a lot of fun! But some of you posted about having to shop for adult clothes at a young age and I remember that too. So my QOTD: Were you overweight as a child or did weight gain happen later?

I was always overweight. I remember at 8 being over 100 lbs. In grade 9 I joined Weigh****chers for the first time and was over 190. I did get down to 165 in grade 12 and bounced between 165 and 180 for the next few years. Met my husband and just continued to gain and lose over the next 20 years and my highest weight was 295 lbs.

Ugh- should have had a more fun question for today!

Ok no theme for the pic today. Share whatever your heart desires. Mine is a Face to face pic from my post workout selfies. 2 years approximately apart.

Menu:

B: Protein shake

L: Chicken quarter

D: Not decided yet

S: I made the egg custards from BariatricEating so I have 1 of those with me

E: Going to the gym at lunch- not sure what I?m doing, and will also be doing 21 day Fix later

Weight is up again and I?m over 180 again.

Have a great day everyone. Posting from my phone so I will add my pic in the comments.

Does anyone know why my apostrophes are showing up as ? Marks? I guess it's because I'm on my phone but it's annoying.

Hi Teena D and OHer's,

QOTD I remember being normal sized until after I had my tonsils out at age 6...then I remember being chubby. My first year in my all girl high school I put myself on a diet and went from about 160 down to a span of 117 - 123. So I remember wearing chubby kid clothes but not adult... I seem to remember a store being called Chubby and Tubby's.

B egg bite, 1 bacon

L 1 chicken tender

D pork tenderloin 3 oz.

I will drink and use 1 premier protein throughout the day in coffee.

So I saw my knee replacement surgeon yesterday and due to my complications from pain medications which definitely affected my pain management capabilities he is going to have to put me out and break my knee joint loose..he can't do it for several more weeks because he needs the incision to heal more first..(yuk) all a learning experience so all is still good.

Have a great day everyone.

I am sorry you have to go through all that with your knee, but glad it should be better soon.

Thank you Emiepie, you know it seems as long as I understand what's happening and why it's happening(I missed my initial window of opportunity to keep the scar tissue from building up between my new and improved knee cap and my new and improved knee joint) well as long as I understand it I'm usually pretty stoic and can do what I have to do... Hopefully I'll be totally prepared when I get my right knee replaced. All is good!
