Help!!

I am three weeks post-op. All is going well with my diet and weigh loss, but my surgical lap sites itch like crazy! I'm going mad over here trying not to scratch them. Yes, and I know all this itching means healing but what can I do to lessen my itchy discomfort. Any advice??

Benedryl works great. I was given that after my surgery because they used surgical glue on me and I was allergic to it. Talk about miserable, but you can take benedryl.

I would just massage lotion in. They do sell Epsom salt lotion That helps with itching

My incision sites itched for a while I even had trouble getting the adhesives off early on. The dr used some pad thingy at the hospital, pretty bad for a nurse to call it a bad thingy. OMG

I used a little hydrocortisone but would ask your office first. Everyone is different and you office might have better suggestions.
