Hello everyone, how are you all? I am good. Calling for rain/possible freezing rain here and mild temps considering the deep freeze we were in. Then we are getting a dumping of snow this weekend, such strange weather.

Accountability: totally on plan, not extra bites, licks or tastes

QOTD: How long did you look into having WLS and how long was your process? I actually never looked into WLS. My family doctor suggested it to me in 2012 and I honestly didn't think I needed it, I did some research into it and realized I did. My process took just over a year from time of referral to date of surgery.

Good morning menu folks! I hope you are all warm and healthy. It is supposed to get to 45 today, but I was still cold this morning during my commute.

Today I have my yearly physical. So much has changed since last year's physical. I am off all of my meds for diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol and asthma. I have lost 125 pounds and my body is stronger and more fit. I am very grateful, but there are still some concerns. I have always had low iron and I am concerned about how my ferretin looks now. I am also very concerned about a softball sized hard mass in my abdomen. It may be a hernia, but I am worried about what it is and what it will take to correct it. I guess it will mean more tests and doctor visits...

Accountability: I had a good day yesterday and stuck to plan well. I also got in alot of walking and 1 1/2 of water time including deep water aerobics. I felt great.

Menu:

Breakfast: scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, 1/2 cup plain oatmeal

Snack: Cappuccino protein shake

Lunch: fish, salad

Snack: 2 oz turkey breast, apple

Dinner: pancakes, turkey bacon, baby carrots, blueberries

Exercise: I plan to get in a couple of shorter walks today, but probably will have to miss pool time because of my doctor visit

I hope everything checks out OK - let us know about the mass. I would be concerned about that as well - hopefully it's something that's easily fixable. Keep us posted.

I think its an incisional hernia. It is a large hard mass not far from my incision. It has become increasingly painful over the past weeks.
