Good morning! My interviews went really well yesterday! Two more later this week, too, so hopefully things are starting to move forward.

QOTD: It feels like I get stung by bees all the time--I average at least once or twice a summer. to sure what I am doing wrong there! Other than that, just a million bug bites, and some sharp little kitten bites :) My dad was bitten by a poisonous spider in Nevada and he had some temporary paralyzation in his face! Yikes.

Morning! It's rainy and cold here too. Im pretty sure summer is just a myth at this point.

Got up extra early this morning to finish up my 20 page research paper on the bidirectionally of obesity and depression. Basically I argue that while not obese people are depressed, and not all depressed people are obese, that all clients that are obese and depressed are not suffering from two different diseases (depression and obesity) but rather one disease (I creatively dubbed this depressive obesity disordered pattern). And that it is one disease because of certain neurological and physiological pathways that are the same for both. This is demonstrated in the parallel of physical symptoms, population groups, and recovery levels. Then I talked about a treatment plan that is holistic and views obesity with the same mental health lens as depression. Anyway, super long and complicated. BUT SO FASCINATING. It's crazy.

QUOTD: My sister used to bite when she was younger. The terrible two's were rough.

Menu:

  1. Coffee and shake.
  2. Yogurt
  3. Morning Star Breakfast sausage, greens, and egg bake (it's super tiny)
  4. Chic-fil-a is serving fee chicken sandwiches to college students. So half a grilled patty with tomatoes
  5. Maaaaybe some okra and the other half of chicken
