I'm 2 yrs post op and been getting nauseous after everything I eat or drink, no pain, no heartburn. It's been two days. I've talked to friends who have had surgery way more post op than I am and they all say it's probably just my new way of having the bug. If it was something serious I would have a fever and be really ill

anyone have this too?

it could be an ulcer or it could be acid. You don't have to have heartburn to have acid reflux.

You don't have to "have a fever and be really ill" for something to be serious.

csll your surgeon or your pcp.

are you drinking 64+ ounces of liquid a day? Dehydration causes nausea.

Do you still have a GB?

A couple of months before my GB gave in completely - I had severe nausea everytime I ate anything or drank protein shakes. Plus some smells made me dry heave.

In addition - I developed food allergies and even now if I eat something that I have allergies to, for a couple of days i may be nauseated when I eat almodt anything. As if my pouch gets "irritated with me".

Warm ginger tea, or real ginger lozenges help with my nausea.

I agree it could be acid. I have many ways acid rears it's head and heartburn isn't necessarily one of them.
