Morning weekenders!

I made it out to the giant yard sale, and it was fun. My sister and nephew came too. Also ran into some friends! There were thousands of people there! It did rain, but not before I scored an awesome, never used picnic set for my other sister.

Also found my hot sauce guy and re stocked. Everyone has a hot sauce guy right? Hahaha

qotd: between scoring the picnic set and someone asking the question on the boards, my sisters and I are planning a picnic!

Do you go on picnics? Or cook outs in the park? If yes, What do you bring?

So far I'm thinking a couple of different cheeses and meats, berries, maybe deviled eggs? I like sliced cucumbers with chicken or tuna salad too.

Menu:

its a bit up in the air, as we might be going to the farm. I have a pork shoulder to make carnitas, but that will probably be for tomorrow.

but everything will be protein forward!

Happy Sunday everyone!

Happy middle of Memorial Day weekend for those in the US! It was beautiful, sunny and warm here the last two days but will be cool and rainy today. I need to do bills and I may go with SILs to a gift shop early in the day, but will be vegetating other than that. I started watching Safe on Netflix yesterday and I'm already hooked.

QOTD: We take food to the beach for lunches and sometimes to see a sunset so I guess that qualifies as a picnic?

Accountability: Totally off plan from mid-afternoon on. There was a stressful family meeting in the afternoon followed by dinner out. Back on plan today!

2 Years, 2 months post-op

Always lots of coffee...

B: Eggs scrambled with cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Deli turkey

D: leftovers - not sure what but possibly steak on salad?

S: apple and/or protein bar

I may try your eggs scrambled with cottage cheese and bacon tomorrow, as I have both in the house.

Good Morning Erin and Menu Family!

I'm feeling a little better, but not 100% yet. Definitely much better than I was on Friday, though.

QOTD: We have a beautiful park with a lake near our town and it has picnic areas and grills and sometimes we get together with family out there. Sometimes we bring pot luck and sometimes we bring meat to grill.

Accoutability: Protein - 72, Calories - 1,350, Carbs - 186.

I'm still eating soft foods (because of my stomach distress), so my menu looks like yogurt, banana, grits with melted cheese, soup, more yogurt, etc.

E: Going to take it easy again today because of being sick.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning! Not able to go to church just yet, so will be a lazy day waiting on hubby to come home. Yesterday I did get into my craft room and refamiliarized myself with my watercolors. Our church has a Christmas bazaar in November so I'm thinking of painting some notecards sets and donating them. Somebody might buy them, lol.

QOTD yes we picnic on the boat and in the past it has been a meal of sandwiches, chips, fruit and water or tea. However, that will change now to something protein forward.

Yesterday, cal 464, prot 77, carbs 28, fat 7. Today B hot tea with half and half, 1/2 premier shake. L 1/2 premier shake, Greek non fat yogurt. D 1/2 premier shake, Greek non fat yogurt. Snacks 1/2 premier shake, Crystal light.

Have a good Lord's day!

Pamela
