Good morning! I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday! I certainly did!!! It was wonderful to have a day to get organized and relax. I was full of energy, too, so I stopped along the ocean for a lovely walk while I was out shopping. It was a gorgeous day. Today is going to be cooler, so I am going to spend the day running errands, but tomorrow is going to be hot hot hot, so I am planning on a full on beach day! Ahhh bathing suits! Ahhh!

Let's see everyone's pics! You have all seen my floor pics and that is the only thing I have done with week, so instead of something recent, I will Flashback Friday to an old before & after. It's funny--this pic is probably about 2 years old and I will still losing. I weigh exactly what I weigh today, only at the time the scale was going DOWN and I felt great. Now I weigh the same, but the scale is going UP and it's way less fun... Funny how much weight is about self-perception.


Accountability: I had the weirdest tiny pouch day. I have been eating like a horse so yesterday since I was not hungry, I took the opportunity to stick with my hot coffee & mocha protein all day, then for dinner I had greek yogurt mixed with Sytrax peanut butter protein. Still not hungry this morning, so if that is the case, then I will forgo some food on the menu and keep over restricting calories. I certainly ate enough over the last week to sustain me on 500 calories for a few more days!

QOTD: Peanut Butter! Crunchy or Smooth? I was in a scuffle with my BFF over this last week ;) I love extra extra crunchy, but she is always against any foods with texture, which is so strange to me...

Good Friday menu folks! It is a gorgeous day, in the low 80s, sunny and low humidity. Just wonderful! May sneak out for a short walk to enjoy it.

I am working from home today and it will be great to put my feet up more than I have the rest of the week. I was hoping to do only part days in the office this week to ease back into it but Wednesday was a 10.5 hour day (not counting the hour commute on either end) with the interview and yesterday I had to cover as staff resource person because I haven't been in the office for my rotation for a few weeks. My poor belly has been more swollen and I will try to give it more of a rest today and tomorrow.

Edited to add the QOTD: organic extra crunchy with no added ingredients. Just blended peanuts!

My picture is of my interview kit! I even bought a new pair of "big girl shoes" to go with the dress.

Accountability: the increased swelling is pressing on my stomach and I am eating less but making sure that I get in 100+ oz of fluids and 2-3 extra protein shakes. Last night I was able to eat some steamed shrimp and that was really good.

Menu:

B1: coffee, vanilla Premier Protein

B2: hard boiled egg, ham

Snack: Cappuccino protein shake, blueberries, cashews

Lunch: chicken breast, baby carrots

Snack: turkey breast, apple, almonds

Dinner: the rest of the shrimp if we stay in or a crab cake if we go out

Exercise: 2 short walks
