I've seen some old old posts of my very issue and hoping someone has answers.

I had rny and gallbladder removal may 2nd. Firat 2 weeks, great! Then, I got 247 nausea and dryheaving. About a week ago, it settled a lot but I still have nausea issues. Ct scan shows no physical issues.

I cant even work, luckily I have fmla. I can basically lay in bed and that's it. I'm getting my water finally. I. So miserable.

Does this ever end??? Has anyone here experienced this? I've seen many years old posts of this exact issue but no end result.

Help, please.

I'm so sorry you're experiencing this. Dehydration can cause nausea post-op. How much are you drinking each day? 64 oz is the daily minimum but in your situation you should probably drink even more.

you need to request iv hydration from your surgeon.

You are likely so dehydrated that you can not drink enough to catch up and that is why you are nauseated. Do this now, call the surgeon or go to the emergency room, dehydration can be deadly.

As I said in my post, I am getting my fluids now. I am not dehydrated and I have been in contact with my doctor. A few weeks ago when I was not getting my fluids i went in and got fluids, didnt help my issues. Again, i am not currently dehydrated.

I suffered with nausea for a long time. No explanation, just carried tic tacs with me and would suck one. The white peppermint ones, it helped to take the edge off.
