Morning Weekenders,

This week was crazy busy with work, so I hardly got on here. I'm way behind in reading!

looks like a mixture of showers today. Still heading to the farm, but I'm managing expectations about what I can accomplish....

qotd: let's talk goals and accomplishments and NSVs, and scale victories! What are you proud of?

i joined a running clinic/group! That boggles the mind. Two years ago, a walking clinic would have been impossible for me. And now, I can run?? and not be dead on feet for days afterward? Wild.

menu

b: coffee and premier

lunch is up in the air

D: chicken drumsticks and wings on the bbq, with salad I'm assuming.

have a good one!

Good morning! We leave paradise (Aruba) around noon today so much packing needs to be done. We did pretty well on food planning for once and aren't throwing much away. I am a little sleep deprived but that is normal for me on the eve prior to traveling. We will be home at around 10:30 tonight and I can't wait to see my doggies (especially Justice)! Oh and I am looking forward to seeing how close my deck is to being finished...

QOTD: I'm proud that I can walk 6-8 miles without my back or joints hurting and that I take yoga 2-3 times a week. I'm proud that I could wear a bikini on vacation for the second year in a row (pic below). I'm glad that I know how to make a plan to reduce carve cravings for after vacation (AMAW starts tomorrow for me).

2 Years, 3 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 19 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: Eggs scrambled with cottage cheese

L: Protein bar (traveling)

D: Protein bar (traveling)

S: Broad Bean package

Good morning Erin and weekenders!

Erin, it is so great that you are enjoying your running clinic. How is it going?

This felt like a really long week and I'm glad to have down time. We are headed to Trader Joe's first thing and then back home to watch all three games of World Cup soccer. I enjoy soccer, but DW is a die hard fan and doesn't want to miss a minute! I may take a break and go for a walk at some point if I can find a time between rain showers and thunder storms.

QOTD: I am so proud of many things related to my surgery. First, I am happy that my health has improved so drastically since surgery and I am able to live without all the meds. I am very proud of my "athletic" accomplishments, my swimming, my walking, my strength. I want to improve my core and arm strength over the next few months, but my body feels strong and capable for the first time in my life! And to jump off of Liz's NSV, I look forward to wearing a bikini! My tummy is nice and flat except for the lowest part, but I can't expose my incisions to the sun for a while yet so it may be next year.

Menu: My major goal is to not do too much snacking while we watch alot of TV.

Breakfast: ham, coffee, cashews

Snack: protein shake, blueberries

Lunch: chicken breast or TJ's chicken sausages, baby carrots

Snacks: protein shake, turkey breast, apple, almonds

Dinner: I want to go out for a crab cake or steak after the games are over.

Exercise: 3 mile walk
