Surgeon appt today but no surgeon
So disappointing to go to my surgeon consult and she had to leave for an emergency. I understand that and totally get that that is priority. But, I feel a bit deflated. I hit my 5% weight loss they assigned me which is good. But the insurance lady was trying to tell me I may not get approved bc there's nothing wrong w my band. Other than it doesn't work, I throw up, have diabetes, can't feel my toes, hbp, etc. Next surgery appt is 3 weeks away. ....sigh.... Thanks for listening.

Sorry to hear, Lisa! Even though it's a legit reason to have to reschedule, it's still frustrating to be on the receiving end of having to wait longer. Hang in there, and keep your chin up!

That is disappointing but at least you know if you have an emergency he will be there for you too. Just the fact that your band didn't work is a legitimate reason for revision but if you are throwing up too that is definately a reason to get it out, that can cause serious damage to your stomach and even teeth from the acid! If they deny for any reason you just appeal, appeal, appeal!!
