Interested in revision

I am just curious if anyone knows who much weight gain is enough for insurance to approve a revision?

it is more about whether there is a malfunction with your surgery than it is about weight gain. Many insurances go by there being something wrong, proven by testing, and if there is nothing wrong weight gain alone doesn't qualify for revision.

What surgery do you have now?

I didn't have any weight gain to be approved to revise from lap band to sleeve. It's as HollyKim said. Most revise from the band due to the well known problems with the band, or from sleeve to bypass due to gerd problems... Etc. Good luck!

I was just re-sleeved yesterday, the ladies who posted answers are correct. Has little to do with regain, more to do if an upper GI shows that there's a structural problem that can be fixed.
