Post Date: 11/29/05 2:35 am Hi all....
I hope you had a happy Thanksgiving. There almost weren't enough hours in the day to count all I have to be thankful for...with the results of this surgery being at the top of the list (after my loved ones, that is!).
Sorry I have been away for a while...this is a VERY busy time for me at work. I have barely had time to pop in to read the board much less write anything. It is now 4:15 am on Tuesday and I'm going to catch up.
My weight loss is steady...slow, but steady. My body continues to reshape itself because I am consistently exercising. That gives me a mental "boost" when the slow weight loss makes it "appear" I'm not making headway. The effect of the exercise is AMAZING!!I
I have WOW moments that take my breath away...and most often they aren't even monumental but they each signal a change in my life that I couldn't even dream of before this surgery opened doors for me that I wasn't able to open for myself.
I am thankful to all of you who, through your sharing and the info you have provided, have helped me along the way. I am happy for those of you who are getting ready for the surgery. Prepare for wondrous changes and LEARN from the others on this board. I am blessed with the ability to live life in a way that was unimaginable before the surgery.
Happy EVERYTHING!
Donna
