Greetings!  I just celebrated my first surgiversary (RNY) and am thrilled with the first year's results.  My mother has just turned 65 and is now receiving Medicare benefits.  I would love to find a surgeon in the Houston, TX area for her to consult with to see if this would be a possible procedure for her.  If you know of a doctor, please send me a message!  Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Faulkenberry did my RNY in '05.  But due to complications mostly with vitamin deficiencies and anemia, I'm looking into some revision surgery. Do you know if they take Medicare?  I have had nothing but problems since the RNY.  The 34 lbs I gained over my goal don't bother me, but the vitamin deficiencies and other issues, mostly an onslaught of auto-immune disorders are making my life hell.  I have primary insurance through my husband's employer but I don't think they would touch weight loss revision. I need to find somebody in the CenTex area who accepts Medicare.  Any ideas anybody?
I hug my horse every day :)
