Hey there girl!  Thanks for the HB!  Only my five year old remembered this morning.  Hubby has called me twice from Philly this morning and didn't say a word!  LOL.  I guess he's got his mind on ordering his cheesesteaks that he's bringing home this afternoon.  Going to Taste of Texas tonight for a little protein.  Yummmm!!!! My protein push for the plastics starts next week which will be about two and a half weeks before surgery!  TWO AND A HALF WEEKS!  AAACK!!!  I never miss a day of the vitamins, either, so all should be good there. See ya' soon!

I wish you a very happy birthday.  I also wish for you that every gift is in birthday paper instead of holiday paper.  My birthday was yesterday so I know what it feels like. Congrats on the upcoming plastics. Ann

Thanks Ann!   Happy Birthday to you as well!!!  My mom is great with the paper....she knows that is a HUGE pet peeve for me so never has any of my gifts in any Christmas paper.  Heck, she won't use anything that is red or green!!!  Usually birthday candle paper or something that has "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" all over it.  My youngest daughter's birthday is on December 31st so I do the same with her....absolutely NO Christmas paper for Pete's sake!!! Plastics are going to be great.  It's going to be a lot of pain but I know with Dr. L. doing it, heck, I'll be like an expensive piece of art!

Thanks!  I actually spent the better part of the morning and afternoon shuttling my sister around from store to store so she could finish up her shopping before I take her back to the airport tomorrow.  Not exactly relaxing, but anytime I spend with my sis is a good time!

Thanks for the birthday wishes!  Can't wait for the Taste of Texas.  Can't eat much, but the place is sooooo cool looking for the holidays.  Everything in white lights in there with those huuuuge nutcrackers.  Just so pretty to look at! Yep....I'm gearing up for the plastics.  I never miss my vitamins so the iron levels should be great.  They were fine before so he thinks all should still be fine.  I'm starting the increased protein right after Christmas and then once I have surgery, I'll be sure to get it in.  My parents are coming down from Illinois to spend a couple weeks here and help out with the daily "mom taxi" duties of picking up this kiddo from this place, and another one from that place, etc.  My mom is VERY "time oriented" as she has different meds to take at different times so she's already planning on bringing me one of my "bullets" every three or so hours for the entire two weeks they are here!  I found out the hard way with my gastric bypass how important the protein was for incision healing so I will NOT be making that mistake again.  I know the plastics is going to be harder than the WLS though! Hope you are feeling better yourself!

Thanks Dana!   Hard to do everything this time of year but I'm not budging on the preparation for plastics!!!  Heard it's a butt-killer so am getting in the right frame of mind NOW (minus the freak-out mode!!!).  This next two and a half weeks or so is going to FLYYY by!
