If you're coming to the Houston event and want to be in the fashion show our cut off time is this Friday! The event will be here before we know it and we need a little time to prepare so if you are still interested in being in the show please send me a message ASAP! OH MY GOD! You're describing my life! I knew it was getting more severe when I would go to a room knowing I was there for a reason. I'd think about it a minute and forget so I figure I'll remember later. I leave the room and then I remember. By the time I get back to the room I forget again. REALLY??? I think I'm going to have to use my voice recorder on my phone but that's only if I remember that I recorded it.....

Looking for those wishing to participate in the fashion show. EVERYONE WELCOME! No biggie, just wear something you like and walk to the end of the stage and back to some music with lots of people cheering and clapping! It is more fun than the law allows and I would love to have the TMB well represented. Send me a message if you'd like to take part!

And...even if you are in the best place you can always get to a better place. It wouldn't be the same without you sweetie. I'm going to cry ... a lot...so please tell me you will come. I'll start camping out in your front yard.

Becky I so hope you will be there because there are many more wonderful people to meet and many more wonderful people that need to meet you. Each of our journeys are valuable and useful to others just as each of our journeys are different. I certainly hope you will be there "doing your thing" because all the people that have not yet met you...need to. Each and every one of us have something to share, to give and experience.

I have known Dr. Kim for several years and he has always been the kindest and caring of doctors. I'm sure there is some problem with lack of communication. His admin does an excellent job of taking care of patients. Please take a moment and talk to the office again. He is truly a wonderful surgeon.

Gina, please come. I can't think of a better place for you to be right now. You've had some tough times lately and we always come away feeling so much better. You said it yourself...just how much difference it makes when you go. I really think this one will be close to our favorite in 2004. It just wouldn't be the same without you. Please....please come. I don't want anyone to not come over anything that's been said. That's just causing you harm. Please reconsider.

I'm going to try to clarify some of what I was attempting to say again. According to the Obesity Help T.O.S. (terms of service) any support group leader may post their discount code in their signature on any forum. Since this is probably going to be one of the largest events (maybe ever) there will probably be many support group leaders posting on the Texas Board. I do think we should support our Texas leaders.
Let me repeat that.
I think we should support our Texas leaders.
We can however be welcoming of the other support group leaders and not assume things about why they are posting. Some of these leaders are people just like the ones you love and respect on this board. Some of them spend their own money to have a little get together to meet other members and leaders. They all give of their time and support their groups. OH gives them a code to be used anywhere and if it was against the rules they wouldn't be allowed to use the codes here. No doubt there will be more posting their codes and I hope we can respectfully welcome them and then use whichever code you wish.

I wish you would reconsider. This may be the biggest event yet. I know that out of the 300 plus that attended Cincinnati there was not one complaint. Everyone left on a high that cannot be described.
