I’m looking for friends in the Mechanicsville and/or King William County area for friendship and encouragement along the weight loss surgery journey.  I’m pre-op and expect to have surgery before the year is out.  I’m not-so-patiently still waiting for my surgery date.  I live in Aylett, in King William County, but travel through Mechanicsville nearly every day. If there is anyone out there who would also like to meet nearby people for conversation, friendship, learning and encouragement please drop me a note hello!  I’m also a member at American Family Fitness in Mechanicsville who would love an exercise partner/motivator.

I am in mechanicsville...actually in Old Church (where West Store is off 360).  All of my dad's family is in Aylett (mostly off 607), and I am there a couple of times a week.  My surgery date is nov 5, and it would be cool to get together and have some support. I'm Janeen! nice to meet yall. A country bumpkin meeting sounds good.

I am also from Old Church. I am awaiting my surgery date at this time. I'm both excited about the surgery and scared.  I'm very  happy to see others from my neck of the woods.  Anyone have Dr. David Elliott for their surgeon?
