thanks for posting this!! I just read the whole thing and it was a great refresher!! 
I was interested in seeing LAPSF guidelines.  They set the stage for realistic loss, most people seem to think they should be losing more than two pounds a week.

"On average, patients who have undergone the Vertical Gastrectomy Surgery should lose 10-20 lbs the 1st  month after surgery, and 5-10 lbs per month after this. "
