Just saw a ad for one-a-day gummies....Has anyone tried them?  I am unable to take the pills...I get very sick and vomit.  I think it may be the iron in them..  Wondering if I should try the gummies..

If you like them or not, please let me know

thanks

I was told repeatedly by my doc and nutritionist NONONONONO to gummies. They're hell on a sleeve to digest.

My situation was just the opposite. I was afraid to take the huge horsepill multis, so I went to the gummis instead. I took two a day for two months after my surgery, and never had any problems.

I have now graduated to post bariatric vitamin chewables but when I first was post op, my surgeon adivsed take Flintstone gummies. Never had any problems like the other poster described. Guess different surgeons have different opinions. See what yours says.

I take a multivitamin gummy (two per day) and my surgeon and nutritionist are both okay with it.

I take more gummies than you can shake a stick at... 2 each of Multi, fiber, D, C, Elderberry, Calcium, CoQ10, B Complex, B-12, Probiotic, Omega 3.  All are VitaFusion and are yummy.  I have had no problem digesting them.  My surgeon, nurse practitioner and osteopath all are aware of my gummie fixation (I, too, have a real problem with pills and it is all I can do to take the one small capsule I must take for my neuropathy) and no one has objected.

I know that they are extra carbs, but I don't mind.  I just conserve in other places.  It is working for me.  I say give them a try and if you have trouble, stop taking them.

I tried the liquid, pills and chewables and threw them all up.  The one-a-day gummies stay down and don't have a vitamin taste.  Nutritionist would prefer something else, but understands the extreme sensitivity  that I developed after surgery.

They are missing some vitamins, but I find they are easy to digest. I ate them until I realized they didn't have iron and some other things.

I do take gummy calciums and fibers (though i tell myself every day I should suck it up and take the pills so im not eating sugar but im a work in progress)

NO GUMMIES.  They do not have everything that you need.  There are numerous chewable multivitamins available out there that are more than adequate.

I prefer the Centrum (they have kind of a chalky orange taste....not bad but not the best either).

There are others out there specifically made for bariatric patients.  If you can't take pills....you NEED to get the chewable type.....but gummies do not work.
