Someone had the VSG done through the single port incision?

I want to know how much recovery time it takes for these surgery, can you go to work 4-5 days later?

I know that its supposed to reduce recovery time..but i dont know for how long?

I can't see why it would be any different with a single port. The incisions are so small, and with single you would have one but it would be bigger.
As for returning to work, that would depend on many factors. What do you do, how many hours etc. I know I was feeling great after a few days but still very tired, no stamina. I would want at least a week off, and maybe two. Don't forget your diet will be very restricted and that alone will make you weak.

I don't think it would be any different.  Each surgeon has a different way of doing the surgery.  Most people have 4-7 incisions at about .5 to 1 inch each.  I had on that was about 1 inch inside my belly button and one that way smaller than 1/4 inch at the top of my stomach area (I had a hernia that he planned on fixing but found out it didn't require surgery). and another one smaller than 1/4 inch to the left of my abdoman.  Then I had a tube on my right.  Now three months later they are so tiny if they weren't still red then you wouldn't be able to see them.
