Oh I hear ya. I'm on Day 3 of my 2-week pre-op diet (protein shakes and clear liquids only) and am considering breaking down and asking the doctor if there's something I can really EAT. I'm wearing a trench between my cube and the restroom, drinking plenty of water plus shakes plus broth, jello, V8 (which, oddly enough, is allowed). I'm sipping until I feel full. And then 10 minutes later my stomach growls like it's starving (which it is NOT). I'm grumpy. I have a headache. I am very much aware of changes going on inside my body and head and have my "eye on the prize," so to speak.
But today, I'm also feeling quite lightheaded. And having trouble concentrating at work beyond what the first two days were like.
Anyone have experience with this? Maybe it's just another part of my body adjusting and will ease up later today or tomorrow?
I know I can do this but right now it's feeling like the l-o-n-g-e-s-t two weeks EVAH!
