Where did you notice weight loss first?

At a week and a half post-op it's exciting to begin to notice that the pounds lost aren't just noticeable on the scale but in the mirror as well.  I'm seeing my neck shrinking (incredibly excited about that).  My arms are also looking a bit smaller and my tummy is getting flatter.  I've lost the equivalent of my 19 month old son already!  Where did you first notice the excess weight melting away?

Same here!

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won!  Sleeved 1/22/13!

 My face and neck first.

Same here, the face. I''m really excited about that because I've always had a big face.
Pre-op -7.8, M1 -21.4, M2 -18.4, M3 -?

My rear end is disappearing! All my clothes are gaping in the rear.

Also, my watch slid off the other day, so my arms/wrists are definitely smaller.

i starting shrinking from the top to the bottom.  and my no boobs before are really no boobs now :(

but i can tell a huge difference.  I went into surgery at a size 20/22 and now can fit into a 16.

one thing i hate is how floppy my whole body is right now.  i need to workout but i am dealing with extreme light headedness where i want to pass out every time i stand up.

i have gone to the doctor and my heart is good which means it's from the rapid weight loss and my body is just freaking a little.  so my blood pressure is low (never had an issue with that before) and now have some orthostatic issues that my doc said "would drop anyone"  awesome.

I've only lost 16 pounds but I can notice a difference in my legs and face for sure. I'm only post op day 4 so my tummy is still really swollen:(

I've been taking my measurements every week. I notice changes in my face, and "batwings". The tape measure says my chest circumference, followed by the girls, then my waist---ie. head to toe.
The first week I was down 7 inches. Caveat, my waist hasn't changed that much. I was able to gently suck in my gut about half an inch yesterday. I figured these "baby crunches" were a good way to re-discover some tone in my gut.

I'm 9 days post op and down 20 pounds since surgery. My grandmother-in-law told me the other day that my face looks slimmer (and she doesn't know I had the sleeve). My partner told me my breasts are smaller ha ha. So I guess my face, neck, and breasts are taking the lead right now. I can definitely see it in my belly, too.

For me in the best place possible- face and neck.  My next area was belly.  My legs and arms were never horrible so those were always the relative trouble spots :)

150+ pounds lost

Face, neck, boobs.  Maybe cause that's what we see in the mirror.  Funny thing at work, I didn't share with them that I had had the sleeve and I've had two different people tell me I looked taller.  Didn't notice the weight loss, but thought I looked taller!  I thought that was funny.

I think it was noticeable in my face first, but my middle is a close second.  I have lost more inches off my waist than my breasts and hips combined.

My theory is that you lose it first in the place you gained it last...but maybe that's just me?

Face, Back and BOOBS! Dangit.... but hey it's a loss. :)

On the scale.
