Cottage cheese

I'm trying to find something to kick up my cottage cheese a little for lunch today.  Looking for more savory then sweet.  Any thogughts of something to mix with it....?

I put salsa in mine. It sounds weird and looks weird, but is really good - if you like salsa.

For savoury, add:

mixed bean sprouts and scallions, stuffed inside a hollowed tomato

black beans and salsa

celery, apples and curry powder

sliced and drained cucumber, chopped mint

sliced radishes and chopped drained tomatoes

hot sauce

roasted beets

black olives and roasted red peppers

EDITED TO ADD:
just realized how early out you are....obviously most of my suggestions are for later...try adding a dry soup mix

There is a seasoning called Spike. I find it in the natural section of my market. Yummy.

I've been adding some ketchup and mustard with a little onion powder.  If I close my eyes and drop reality, there's a vague resemblance to a hamburger.  McCormick seasonings for beef, chicken and hamburgers does a great job, too.

going to make my lunch now with cottage cheese -- putting some home made marinara sauce on it with some finely shredded mozzarella..........saw someone suggest this a few days ago.  Anything that's not sweet!  SICK of sweet!

Good Luck

Try a little marinera sauce with italian seasonings and garlic. Just like the inside of lasagna :)

Grilled chicken, kidney & black beans, and green olives.

 I put garlic in mine.

Frank's RedHot Wing Sauce.  Yummy!!
