Hey everybody, been gone for a few days on vacation wanted to keep the reminder going for our Ct-New England meet and greet. Bruce, aka Fireman441 has had my back while I've been out and about.

So far it looks like 8-10 people from the Oh boards will be coming. Some are bringing spouses, family or guests.

It should be fun.

Saturday August 18th at Foxwoods Resort Casino

Meet at the back of the Atrium Bar at 6:30 to 7:00 pm

Walk over to the Cedars Steak House for 7;15 dinner on the informal side because they have appetizers that can be split and small appetizers that work well for sleevers.

After dinner there are several choices:
Music and Dancing at the Atrium Bar
Comedy Club
Music at the Scorpion Bar (younger club music)
Gambling

Foxwoods has a lot more to offer, go to their web site and check it out. Ideas can be tossed around at dinner and like minded people can get together.

Rooms should be booked by each person EARLY. The price goes way up the closer you get to the day and usually it's just plain sold out. There are other hotels close to Foxwoods if you miss your window of opportunity, that offer shuttle service.

I would love to be there! But that's the day I come back from Spain (going to visit my husband's family for the first time--and hoping to not need a seatbelt extender on the airplane!). So therefore I will be unable to attend this time around. :(

Well enjoy! What part of Spain? I've been to Spain twice. Love it. A very beautiful country with a wonderful culture.

I just noticed you are about a month out? Make sure you get up and walk around on the plane every hour or so. There is still a potential for blod clots up to I think 3 months out?
Ask your doctor too, he/she may be able to give you a blood thinner just in case.
It's a long flight.
