My first big NSV

Just passed the one month surgiversary. Can't believe it's been a month already! Felt like the liquid diet phase would never end. Then after getting sleeved, I thought id made a horrible mistake as my beloved food and I had broken up. Sipping down protein shakes thinking I'd never be able to finish what I once used to guzzle.

Then, things started getting easier and my scale started doing something I'd never seen it do: go down! I got a few people telling me that my face looked thinner , but it is so hard to hear those words and actually believe them.

Then today happened. What started off as a crappy day as I found out that I had shingles, ended with what I would call my first big NSV. As the pants have gotten looser, my wife was prepping to sew some elastic into my pants when she came out of the closet with an older pair. She said to try them on just for fun....

Not only did they fit, but they were loose! This led to a marathon closet fashion show as I tried clothes that haven't fit for years. After tonight, I now have 4 new pairs of pants, 5 new shirts, 2 pairs if shorts, and a pile of winter type stuff!! What an amazing day! Thanks to everyone for their support and for anyone going through a rough time, hang in there!!

Awesome Job! You might as well stick the winter stuff right back on in because you are going to fly by those and never get to wear them. You'll be buying all new winter clothes...I can promise you that. : )
