Stomach nodule

Three years out.  Was feeling a little heartburn and full. To be safe, bariatric doc  first ordered a swallow and then ordered an endoscopy.  Was performed yesterday.  Gastroenterologist found a stomach nodule but thinks it is nothing to worry about, perhaps an extra piece of skin at the staple line.  Of course, they will biopsy it but he thought it was fine and nothing to worry about.  Haven't had a chance to talk to bariatric doc who is wonderful  and thorough because it is Thanksgiving.  My question is has anyone else ever gotten one?

Shouldn't be researching on the web but is one of my shortcomings and of course it scares me.

I have no idea what to say as I have never went through that but wanted you to know that  your not alone. Hopefully you will get more answers as the holiday dies down a little and people go through the posts if not post again.  Try not to be too stressed out and take care of yourself.  Wishing you hope and comfort as you go through this.
