Well, I have guidance now but insurance has denied to pay since it is pre-existing. I swear they are going to kill me.
Check to see if your insurance is "grandfathered" or not. If it is not grandfathered come January 1st pre-existing waiting periods will be gone.
You will have to call your insurance. If it is through your employer, sometimes HR or your benefit center will know, but most of the time you just have to call the insurance company and ask.
