What do ya miss about having a whole stomach?

Just curious.  Why do you miss the most about having a full sized stomach versus a tiny tube of a stomach after VSG?

In all honesty I don't miss anything. I can still eat what I like and don't have to go with out.

However, after thinking about your question I guess I could say the "thoughtlessness".   By that I mean, before I didn't eat thoughtfully.... which is why I got to where I was!  After VSG, you need to think about eating the protein and nutrients you need to be healthy.  Mindless eating sort of falls to the side although, I'm sure you could do it with slider foods.

I'm 8 weeks out and I miss able to swallow my food faster, I dislike the feeling of having something stuck in my throat and not able to drink water while eating.  I hope it gets better.

Not a damn thing.  I wouldn't trade my progress so far for a normal sized stomach.  AT ALL.

Honestly, I miss eating deep dish cheesy, meaty pizza with stuffed crusted! At this point, my tiny stomach would scream lol But I don't regret my decision one bit!

I love my sleeve, and I am so happy that I am so much healthier.  But I have to say,  there are days I wish I could eat a normal sized meal.  I always want to eat so much more than my tummy can hold.  I thank goodness that my stomach restricts me, or I'd never lose the weight.  However, I do miss that sense of eating until I'm satiated. But its a small price to pay for health and mobility.

Nothing!!!! I love my sleeve so much.

I do, SOMETIMES, miss being able to drink something while I eat. Like a nice ****tail with girlfriends while out to dinner. But hey, it isn't a big loss in the end :o)
